Pediatric Dentistry
Through their years of dental experience our doctors have mastered unique techniques to make our pediatric patients as comfortable as possible.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance (though not necessarily the function) of a person's teeth, gums and/or bite.
Examples of common cosmetic procedures include whitening, bonding, bridges, and veneers.
One of the procedures we use here is Zoom! Teeth Whitening. It is the most state-of-the-art whitening program available today. With it you can have significantly whiter teeth in just one visit. Both comfortable and affordable, Zoom! teeth whitening can make your teeth up to 6-8 shades lighter in as little as 1 1/2 hours. The procedure uses a gel and a light. Together they penetrate your teeth and break up any stains or discoloration. After the procedure you can head home (or back to work) with your whiter, brighter smile! It's fast and long lasting. This procedure can only be performed by dental professionals.
Another procedure we take pride in is the replacement of old filling with materials made of porcelain or other composite materials that more closely mimic the appearance of the natural tooth structure. These materials can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable and are easy to apply.
Sedation Dentistry
Dentists recognize that a large percentage of the population has a fear of dentists and/or dental procedures. Over the past 50 years there have been several methods of sedation introduced into the dental profession that provide safe and effective relaxation of the patient. Most people will benefit from some form of sedation.
Prior to performing a procedure our dentists will typically talk to the patient to determine their level of anxiety and recommend an appropriate level of sedation. Sedation dentistry is beneficial in circumstances where a patients fear or other issue might prevent them from remaining comfortable during a dental procedure.
We take special care of patients with these concerns:
- I’m afraid of needles and shots.
- I’ve had bad experiences before.
- I have not been to the dentist in a long time.
- I always gag when having dental work done.
- I just can’t seem to get numb.
- All my teeth are too far-gone.
Dental & Restorative Implants
Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace dentures or partials and replace missing teeth.
A titanium implant is permanently attached to your jaw and a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants require one or two outpatient or office surgeries and take from three to nine months to complete.
TMJ (Jaw Pain Therapy)
Commonly misdiagnosed or overlooked, subtle misalignments in the Temporomandibular joints can be a common significant source of head and neck pain. If you have frequent and severe head or neck pain you owe it to yourself to investigate our doctors life-changing approach to correcting these TMJ problems.
